Closing a Sales Order

- Before closing a partially fulfilled sales order, the user must bill it, as it cannot be billed once closed.
- Closed sales orders can only be imported into Order Fulfillment and Sales Return for warranty purposes.
In Britana, a “CLOSED” status is regarded as a valid transaction. Users can manually close a sales order if they do not intend to fulfill the remaining items. A sales order can be closed if its status is one of the following: Partially Fulfilled / Pending Billing, Fully Fulfilled / Pending Billing, Pending Fulfillment / Fully Billed, or Partially Fulfilled / Fully Billed.
If the user has an authority to close the sales order, CLOSE button appears. Otherwise, there is NO close button.
